September 24th & 25th 2010 2 Day Airbrushing Beginners Course

Have you ever wanted to learn to airbrush?, Do you think you're not artistic enough?

This 2 day course will teach you all the techniques you need.

It doesn't matter what skill level you're at, so don't worry if you don't know which end of an airbrush the paint comes out of!! All we require from you is confidence in yourself, if you want to learn then you will.

Our classes are purposely kept small so more individual attention is guaranteed. All materials used on the course are provided, you may wish to bring with you a small notepad just to jot down some of the many tips that that we will be sharing with you throughout your day.

We have put together an intense 2 day airbrush course specifically aimed at people who want to learn how to airbrush with no knowledge of an airbrush and little or no artistic ability!

What equipment you need from compressors to airbrushes, the different types of paints used and why, troubleshooting when things go wrong, how to maintain and customise your airbrush:

• Stripping, cleaning andand setting up
• Trouble shooting your airbrush

• Surface Preparation
• Demos & Practical Exercises in freehand techniques; this is very intense airbrush practice
• How to decide which image(s) to use
• How to transfer images from a reference to your canvass, tank, helmet, etc .
• How to resize images to the required size.
• How to cut and use stencils
• Creating fall back and "get out of jail free" methods for recovering mistakes.
• How and when to perform the three major techniques of airbrushing - Freehand, Loose Masking and Stencilling
• Create your own practice piece of artwork combining everything learnt on the course.
